CAA organises annual collective retreats and facilitates artist residencies on the island of Seili with the Archipelago Research Institute since 2017. As momentary withdrawals from the state of emergency, the retreats invite critical reflection on methodologies while fostering collaborations in response to ecological urgencies. Residencies and field trips are tailored to the needs of each participant’s practice with the aim to cultivate long-term processes and sustainable modes of production.
